Nancy Burns is a CA State Board Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist as well as a professor at the San Jose campus of Five Branches University. Nancy has a particularly gentle approach to acupuncture, perfect for even the most sensitive skin or needle-phobic patients. Nancy is certified in clean-needle technique in which ONLY one-use, sterile, disposable needles are used.

In addition to the comprehensive acupuncture techniques used in primary care acupuncture, Nancy has specialized training which makes her an expert in Facial Rejuvenation and Women’s Health issues including exhaustion, infertility, Peri-menopause and Menopause.

Nancy has been a resident of San Jose an active member of the community for over 25 years. She was educated at University of Nevada, Reno and received her Masters Degree from the prestigious Five Branches Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She opened Valley Acupuncture in 2004 as a way to offer a much-needed complement or alternative to western health care options.
